TREPP

The observation tower is a second year school project situated in a wetland in Estonia. TREPP (meaning ‘staircase’ in Estonian) is a tower that takes its delicate environment into account, its organic form provides a wide view to monitor moorland birds by blending lightly into the horizon.

The stairway is an invitation to explore how a curved and semi-transparent voyage leads the hiker to an unexpected clarity of sight. It can be a hint for surprises in the upcoming hike or an opportunity to catch your breath in an endless view of  Tuhu wetlands.
