There was a moment when my fellow coursemate was about to throw away her prototype. I asked if I can save the legs and make something out of it.
As a designer, I want to promote the practice of rethinking and recycling our resources, before we throw leftover materials away.

It’s alarming how easily a big amout of waste is accumulated when striving for aesthetic perfection. I find beauty in spontaneity, which is why I like to build out of leftovers.
I was in need of a stool, so I sanded and painted the wood, found some extra aluminium to bend a surface on top and voilà - the stool is alert and ready - representing spontaneous expressions, modifying waste into a needed piece of furniture.
